I want to play this! I love the Pirates part in Disney Infinity 1, and this looks just like it. Blowing the crud out of enemy pirate and national ships. Whoohoo! Who needs clunky WWII ships anyway? :-)

What?!? No Xbox One version? Curse that PS4 and all its games. ;-)

It's a lot of fun -- you have to watch your pennants to see what way the wind is blowing and when you use WASD to maneuver, based on the wind direction your ship automatically furls or lowers sail. Your cannons are aimed by, of course, aiming the ship. You have one main reticle that your cannon will focus on as a full broadside, but each cannon has a smaller reticle that can fire independently. And you do have to fire on the uproll or the down roll! Oh, and they even modeled wave reflection around islands so it's choppy when you 'round an island -- and if you ground on something you're gonna have a hard time getting unstuck.

While there's no crew modeled, the detail is nice and there are lots of wooden bits and chunks that get blown about, and your captain's voice will yelp things during combat, "You killed me parrot, ya scurvy dogs!" "No! NOT THE RUM!"

LOL!

Broadsides weren't really a part of 16th Century naval warfare. And I doubt you'd have heard a captain call out: "Full speed ahead'. But then, I wasn't there.

Well, it's pretty good for their free-play April Fool's game. Last year their April Fool's day game was WW2 Combat Mecha!

Well it's an April fool joke so no worries.

Looks like a great game, but since it requires a 3.2GHz processor, and I have an older laptop -- can't play it. Just like I supported Star Citizen only to find out after the KS was over that my poor 'ol PC can't handle it.

This is a HOOT! Already played four games and won in all of them. I even sank two ships on the fourth go. You have got to watch the wind and your speed as well as the swell of the waves. I hope they go forward with this as I will be hooked.

Is part of the April Fool's joke that the post was submitted on 31st March?
