As soon as I get organized.

I've pulled together the various unpainted figures for my Sikh War project.

Getting it organized is the first step. Next step shall be the painting.

A few more pics and notes on my blog.

I have a box jsut like that first pick that is full of ACW guys.

I assume you will continue with your Volley and Bayonet organization/basing.

Rebooting, or giving the 25mm figures a boot? ;) Ya know, there is an incredible line of 15mm Sikh War figures available. I'm just saying come to the true scale. ;)

In all seriousness, looking forward to gaming some Sikh Wars!

Sikh Wars great stuff keep 'em coming.

The Sikh Wars have so much potential for wargaming. The Sikh Khalsa is one of the few native armies that gave the British a serious run for the money, and things could have turned out very differently. Have fun and keep us posted!

And if you find yourself needing inspiration, read "Flashman and the Mountain of Light".

Mark Smith has run some really good Sikh Wars and other Indian battles for us using BBB. His Mudki scenario is in the files of the BBB Yahoo group and in my Flickr stream. Mark has 6mm armies from Irregular Miniatures but no doubt 28mm could be used, albeit you'd probably need to up the ground scale.

Yes, still using Volley and Bayonet. And yes, still using 25-28mm figures. In to deep to change now.
