Does anyone remember which episode Anthony Eden discusses having lunch with Adolf Hitler? Eden mentions how he and Hitler were on the same stretch of the front line during WWI and how Hitler drew the entire British line on the back of a menu. Being a runner he knew the area like the back of his hand. Anyway I cannot remember which episode this short clip was in. Anyone know? Thanks! |

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear. I own the entire series but I am trying to find a 2 minute clip on one of the episodes. There are 26 one hour episodes. I was hoping that someone remembers that specific clip and which episode it is on. I wish I had time to watch 26 hours of tape, lol. |

This is probably of no help but… Since the meeting took place in 1935 the clip is probably in in the first episode – "The New Germany" Here is a short clip of him talking about the meeting: link |

I just watched a documentary called The Fatal Attraction of Hitler. Anthony Eden was shown speaking in 1974 and he told the story. I think it was the same footage from World at War but in Fatal Attraction he showed the napkin in which Hitler and him drew their respective battle lines during WWI. |
