I am working on a book of scenarios for the Wars of the Polish and Austrian Succession. The Polish war has two battles: Parma and Guastella. I can find plenty of info on Guastella but not much on Parma. There is a German website that has a map and a description in German of the battle. I had a buddy do a quick translation. There is also a very basic Wiki entry and a short account in Sutton's King's Honor… However none of it seems to make much sense. I just can't grasp what actually happened. Does anyone know of any other sources or have a good description of the battle. You can reach me privately at hmslydia@msn.com Thanks. Tim Tilson |

There was also the Battle of Bitonto 1734 between Spain and Austria in southern Italy. There was a discussion and OOB posted here on TMP a while back. |
