Thanks Doug. The gamers who attend our show and create or paint their own game pieces, usually appreciate and enjoy the painting, sculpting and scratch-building tips, tools, paints, etc.

I was at the show Saturday afternoon!

Most of the kits are large (movie model size). Although it's not a scale I work in, the materials and techniques are 95% the same as tools/methods used by war-gamers and mini-painters.

I love the talks from the industry pros; the things they do to make move props is always fascinating to hear. A fun example is one of the Star Wars ships has a pair of rusty/heat scorched vents on top of the ship, and its parts come from the front grill of a Porsche model (I forgot the year, I think it was 70s-80s). Cool! :)
