According to Wikipedia, nearly 200K were built of which 150K were sent to Russia and were instrumental in the improvement of Soviet supply train in the spring of 1943 which allowed the Russian to go on the offensive in the summer! And yet I can't find a 15mm model of it… Am I looking in all the wrong places? Or doesn't it exist at all? |

It's not their best model, but QRF have it: link |

why not use a gmc 2.5 ton 6x6 as it is almost identical except it has 1 more axle. the body is almost the same as well. |

@Doms - Not their best models indeed… - I just checked your store, so I guess your annoying dancing bananas approach to marketting is working! You don't produce custom decals, don't you? |

@Shaun Fairly specific project: link If I can't find the 1½-ton Chevrolet, I'd rather go with a 4 wheeled British 15CWT rather than go 6x6… Touboutt-Chan is supposed to be located between Bhutan and China, so both British WW2 surplus (trough neighbouring India) and Soviet (including US lend-lease) vehicles make sense… US Deuce-and-a-half, no so much, I think… |

Very rarely I'm afraid – depends how easy the job looks and how busy I am, but the bottom line is that custom work is generally a good way of spending 3 hours producing a £2.00 GBP decal sheet, so I usually have the sense to say no…. |

As for the truck, QRF also have a French Chevy, which is similar in design, and a rather better sculpt (indeed I have a few of these myself and am quite happy with them.) Still not exactly cutting edge, but looks better than the one in their US range, while being a lot closer to the picture than you'll find elsewhere, I suspect…. link |

Trojan the ledo road was packed with 2.5ton 6x6 trucks, more than 4x4's. they are almost the same size as well. |

@Shaun That does it… US Deuce-and-a-half it is! Thanks for the tip, not that much of an historian myself! |

@Doms What's the most work? Designing the decals or the actual printing? Designing I can do quite easily myself (vector image using Inkscape). Assuming you can tell me what you need as imput for the printer, I should be able to send you print-ready files… |

No, sorry – getting an optimal print with Alps printers means setting up everything "just so" – I've been there, done that, and spent nearly as long editing other people's "printer ready" artwork as I would've done working from scratch. Even when they've had absolutely clear instructions on *exactly* how I need to set up the artwork – it just doesn't work out unfortunately. |
