I don't like writing posts such as this, but I warned GeoffQRF that if my grievance wasn't addressed after my third attempt I would be publicizing it to the TMP population.

Back in mid-February I order Total System Scenic Rubber Rivers from QRF/TSS. It was about 60 British pound sterling worth in addition to a 12 pound shipping & handling charge. When the package arrived, my post office informed me that postage was due and that I had to go to the post office to retrieve the package.

At the post office, they showed me that no postage had been affixed to the package and they were surprised that the package made it across the ocean without any postage. Needless to say, I paid the $34.50 USD charge and contacted GeoffQRF about the situation. I even sent him pictures of the unopened package showing that no postage had been affixed to it.

GeoffQRF told me he would refund the $34.50 USD (I would have been happy with a refund of the original 12 pounds that I was charged). I have since contacted him 3 times and, a month later, there is still no refund. Geoff informed me that "Sarah and Chase" are at the factory and it was their responsibility to furnish the refund.

Thanks to Geoff for attempting to rectify this situation on my behalf. I will let you all come to your own conclusions regarding this transaction. As for me? I'm done with them.

My experience is that sometimes QRF seems a little short staffed regarding getting around to things, but that they will get around to it and always make it right.

Best of luck. Hope to hear good news soon.

Possibly they have had to claim the money from the Post Office as it seems to have been their error and these things take time.

I fully agree that, if this was the case, you should have been kept informed so can understand your annoyance.

Hmm, I spoke to Chas and he agreed we would refund as it was not the customers fault that our post office managed to put it in their post bag without putting any postage on it at all. I did ask Sarah to do that straight away. I'll have to find out why it's not done.

It's a bit more than their responsibility, I'm not based in the factory and don't have direct access to the payment side, so I can log in to check orders but I can't actually process the refund.

No Gildas, we were supposed to have refunded it in full by return. Getting the money out of the post office is our problem so we would refund first, and get our money back as a separate issue.

Have you checked your PayPal account, as they would have refunded it into there.

Ok, apparently they are so busy they have bundled all the payments out to the end of the month. It should go through before the end of the week.
