G66,

After playtesting the Napoleonic variant "General d'Armee" – covering the Battle of Leipzig at the Wargames Holiday Centre with 14 new players we've implemented a few revisions just prior to releasing the rules. So we're looking at this summer.

There'll be a "Picketts Charge!" demo game at Salute, if you're able to make it. (Followed by a detailed AAR if you can't!)

Is this an update of Guns at Gettysburg?

NM,

Pickett's Charge is not really an update to Guns at Gettysburg rules; they are a distinct set of rules in themselves.

Although players may recognise a familiar environment, (i.e. there's a charge phase, movement phase, fire phase, etc. I suppose most rules have that!) The rules and various aspects of game play are significantly different, esp. in the command and control areas.

Looking to release this summer! (Once we've done the final, final play tests!)

Can I ask what figure or base scale it is?
