Hi, Please take a look at my recently completed sculpts, in the 15mm-18mm size range. They're notionally intended as Khandish & Haradrim types for LOTR, and also for a Hyborian setting, as troops for Turan/Hyrkania and Shemite nomads. Not all completed, so just a few WIP examples currently. I'm hoping to expand with more characters and troop variants in good time. I'd appreciate any thoughts, criticisms, offers from wealthy patrons (seriously, I need to make a living!). Hope you like them, come what may. theminiaturespage.com

Look good to me, I hope something can come of it. Stygians would be good too! |

Yes,and I like the fact that you didn't use the movies for your models.Looks like you put some thought into these. Will the shields be separate? Molds could be a problem, otherwise, with shields to the front. And a choice of shield would be even better, although that brings it's own problems. I like 'em! |
Combat Colours | 25 Mar 2016 8:39 p.m. PST |
I like them! Hopefully they show up for sale in the future..perhaps a kickstarter? |
Cullen | 25 Mar 2016 8:43 p.m. PST |
Thanks chaps! All the shields are separate, I've a spread of all shapes&sizes. I'd imagined "endless" possibilities, with a few shield choices and just a few troop variants. One could end up with a saracen horde effect with relatively few poses. One thing I haven't tackled yet is musicians and command-base figures. Are they required much (or at all) in 15mm rulesets? |
boy wundyr x | 25 Mar 2016 9:02 p.m. PST |
I like these a lot, though I'd use them for skirmish gaming, so definitely musicians, command figures, serving wenches, pirate queens, etc. etc. |
Cullen | 25 Mar 2016 9:07 p.m. PST |
Yeah, a pirate queen would be nice to try, some scurvy crew too perhaps. But I'll start up some musicians soon. Thanks! @combat colours: a kickstarter might be the way to go, if I can get into the required frame-of-mind. I'd just prefer to see the sculpts go to an established company. |

Superb, love the Southron cavalry. David F Brown |
Frostie | 25 Mar 2016 11:52 p.m. PST |
They look great and as an avid 15mm fantasy collector and gamer I would be keen. Leaders, musicians, magicians, skirmishers, giants, different mounts (camels, bugs etc), bohemoths all would be welcome. I do have the beginning of a 'Stygian' army with the rank and file made up of an historical range, Ancient Persians, but I do like the idea of a 'Southron' type army as well. Good luck |

They look super. If you get them into production I'd love to review them. John Treadaway Miniature Wargames |

I love them! I'd like to see a nice character pack with an awesome king, queen, some heroes. Basically like we used to get back in the 90s Warhammer and in Warmaster. I'd use this set for Warmaster and skirmish. Battle Valor has a great Mumak to use with these guys. |

Thanks for the support everyone. I'll be back with more pics soon but keep any suggestions coming in the meantime. Regards, RC. |

They look great. Have you shown them to North Star? They complement the Conan-esque Copplestone Barbarica figures North Star is now carrying. |
Cullen | 26 Mar 2016 11:32 a.m. PST |
Ivan, that might be a fine idea! Especially as I'd sized them to match up with the Copplestone Barbarians in my collection. I should pm Nick I guess. Cheers, RC. |
Baron Trapdoor | 26 Mar 2016 4:38 p.m. PST |
Very nice figures I'd even drop larry dunn, owner of Khurasan Miniatures a line Cullen, these lines would fit with his also. |
Ivan DBA | 26 Mar 2016 6:55 p.m. PST |
I would agree with the Baron, but Khurasan is notorious for taking years to bring out promised figures, even long after the greens are sculpted. I can't entirely blame them, because they have an incredible variety of great figures, covering all of history, fantasy, and sci fi. But it's just a fact that they have lots of stuff sculpted or WIP, and years have gone by without it getting cast & sold. Check out Khurasan's Hobgoblins to see what I mean. link These were shown fully painted on TMP almost two years ago, with promises to be on sale "in a couple weeks." Many folks, myself included, responded with "take my money please!" But so far, no sign of figures you can buy. To be clear: I've always had great service buying stuff from Khurasan, and everything I've ever bought from them is top-notch. |
Cullen | 26 Mar 2016 7:22 p.m. PST |
Thank you Baron! And thanks Ivan, your input is much appreciated. I agree, some excellent product at Khurasan. Regards, RC. |

+1 for North Star. I would love these to go with my Copplestone Barbarians. If not, maybe a 15mm Temple of Set kickstarter? I know I would throw piles of money at something like that ;-) |

Splintered Light would be nice or Rebel Mini. Not sure if either are buying sculpts right now, but they are great guys. |
CarloVon | 27 Mar 2016 7:45 p.m. PST |
That they are made to complement copplestone figures is a huge plus for me- I would definitely buy/ contribute to a kick starter if some character/'civilian' figures were produced. |
FincasKhalmoril | 28 Mar 2016 4:52 a.m. PST |
Lovely sculpts. Also for me these would be a great motivation to invest more into Copplestone Barbarica! Id love to see them in production. |

They look great! When and where can we get them? Terry |
Cullen | 28 Mar 2016 7:53 p.m. PST |
Thanks for the supportive comments everyone! I'm talking with a respected producer, so I hope we see something real soon. More sculpts to do, will post some pics when I can. Regards, RC. |

Top notch – and if there is a way to contact you off line, I'd like to open a discussion with you. But not about these figures. Impressive work. |
Cullen | 01 Apr 2016 11:22 a.m. PST |
Early, thanks for the compliment. Off line?! Is there such a thing any more?? ;) Do you use Facebook? Cheers, RC. |
Jimboba | 01 Apr 2016 4:11 p.m. PST |
Echo the other voices of approval. I'll buy for sure. Great work. |
Terry37 | 25 May 2016 5:55 a.m. PST |
Great looking, and I commend you for making the spearmen with their spears upright. This is absolutely the only way to do spears, pike,s or other long weapons so they don't get in the way when the element is in close combat. Thank you for it! Terry |
Cullen | 25 May 2016 9:15 a.m. PST |
Thanks Terry. Spears upright seemed the best way all round, they're easier to fit on bases (popular 40mm-width in mind) and they shouldn't get tangled with enemy miniatures (well, you know what I mean). Cheers! |
LtJBSz | 25 May 2016 2:58 p.m. PST |
Please make one of your shield choices plain for those of us who paint our own heraldry. |
Mute Bystander | 25 May 2016 3:53 p.m. PST |
Look good, I would be happy if you linked up with a USA company for purely selfish reasons. LOTR type 15/18mm humans would break down my resistance (so far it is Dwarf and Goblin, looking at halfling and elf.). Yep, pretty much an OD&D traditionalist fantasy Wargamer here. |
Cullen | 25 May 2016 3:54 p.m. PST |
Which shape(s) do you prefer? I've probably got one or two plain ones in my bits box. Cheers, RC. |
LtJBSz | 25 May 2016 5:25 p.m. PST |
A plain kite shield and a round shield would probably cover it. |
Cullen | 28 May 2016 10:42 p.m. PST |
Have included a couple of each shape along with the second wave of greens. Cheers, RC. |
Terry37 | 29 May 2016 9:07 a.m. PST |
I saw a couple of these at Nashcon yesterday at David's Splintered Light vendor table. They really are VERY nice! Terry |
Cullen | 29 May 2016 10:26 a.m. PST |
Thanks Terry :) I've yet to see the production models, some are on their way to me though, very exciting! Cheers, RC. |
