Nice figs! But what is his definition of a pack of figures? I have seen packs of 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 figures.

The actual number is given. Infantry usually comes at 8, cavalry at 3 – command, religious, casualtis, dragoons, artillery, etc naturally slightly differ.

Seems the "sweet spot" is here at 96, with 8 packs and free shipping.

Here are the current unlocked pack sizes, which appear to be sized to provide consistency of weight and volume:

Armoured Pikemen Pack: 8 miniatures. 3 different models.
Arquebusiers Pack: 8 miniatures. 3 different models.
Musketeers Pack: 8 miniatures. 3 different models.
Command Group: 6 miniatures.
Combat Horse Pack: 3 horses and 3 riders.
Religious Pack: 6 miniatures.
Harquebusier Cavalry Pack: 3 horses and 3 riders.
Artillery Pack: 1 gun and 3 crew miniatures.
Casualties Pack: 7 miniatures.
Command Horse Pack: 3 horses and 3 riders.
Swordmen Pack: 8 miniatures. 3 different models.
Light Artillery Pack: 1 gun and 4 crew miniatures.
