I thinking of ordering some of the E-Books that The History Book Man publishes, but they don't show any samples of the art work or any written material. Has anyone purchased any of these volumns and how do you rate them? I want to order the volumes that contain units that fought in Spain.

I purchased two so far, and recommend them. I do recommend viewing on larger screens, either PC or tablets. Artwork and text are great reference sources. Buy one and see what you think…good value for money in my opinion.

They are excellent….both text and art work. Hard to beat the value per cost. Agree with the advice to buy one and see what you think.

Can't really go wrong with the price. It just seems unbelievable considering how little information is out there on the nations the publisher is releasing. Thank you for the input.

I highly recommend them. The information they contain is very detailled and perhaps you might not have seen some it before. I learned a lot from the 3 I have ppurchased so far and I have been collecting books on Napoleonics since the 1970's. I am impatient for the Austrian book to be re-released.

I am surprised how much depth these books have in details! While most (if not all) were once available many years ago, it wasn't till recently that I was introduced to the series. The author is extremely well versed as to what wargamers (and some rules designers) might want to know.

Again, highly recommended!

Jason, I had difficulty at first as well, but finally figured it out. Look for the drop down to select the electronic versions. Also, add his email address to your Contacts so you receive his email. You order, and he sends you another email with a link to the PDF. There may be a delay in receiving his email, but mine came within a day or two.

I have the E-Books on Baden (weasily the most comprehensive on the subject I have ever seen), and Duchy of Warsaw (at least equal to the Nafziger book on Poles and Saxons. Excellent price, near immediate delivery of E-Books. Warsaw book has a number of illustrations by Chelminski, Baden by Hourtelle and others. Just a matter of time until I add more volumes. Highly recommended!

I've got the Wurttemberg one and it is superb. There is a depth of information and detail that you cannot find anywhere else.

I have them all so far and they are all worth the money!
I would gladly pay more for them – hope he does not read this ;)

You cannot go wrong in buying any of his works, they are just stuffed full of information and illustrations.

Just to let all of you know I ordered and received three E-Books from The History Book Man and they are great. They are everything you could want or need to know about the army they represent.

And again, thank you all.
