placed an order with them fifteen days ago, still hasnt been shipped. now while that is in and of itself not necessarily bad, I sent them an email a week ago asking if they could provide me with an estimated shipping date, to which they haven't replied yet. Ill try calling them tomorrow and see how that works out. Does anyone else have bad experiences with Heroics and Ros? I've only been able to find positive reviews so it seems strange that I'm having issues. |

I've ordered three times in the past year. Their services isn't fast, or necessarily very good, but I always got my order. |

Same as K Smyth. The contact email address isn't answered, it sends you a second email address which works. I know they're very busy with new items for the ranges, and it's not a large concern. I've never had anything not turn up, and they are amenable to odd requests for bits and bobs, like changes of turret etc. |

A third here. A bit slow, but they'll get you your order. I got the impression they have to cast a lot figs on order. |

If you are worried about getting your items, don't. They will arrive. The owner has a full time job and right now they are preparing for more new Centurions (which I keep hoping to see added to the website soon). My last order Andy mentioned that Team Yankee is keeping them very busy. -Rick |

Andy is a GREAT guy. He just has a lot going on…job, baby, etc. Your experience is not unusual. He will do alot of cool stuff for you that other companies wont. Once he cast an entire herd of cattle for me, another time he cast a bunch of Confederates as Cowboys, he will do different turrets for you etc. We all want our stuff ASAP. I'm one of the least patient people so I know it's tough. |

Many years ago I had an order from them with a pack missing x figures, after informing them, they sent 2x of the missing item. I was impressed. David F Brown |

Have to agree with the praise. I ordered a couple of single items I couldn't source elsewhere (most of my stuff is GHQ leavened with CinC), they got it organised, sent small packs at minimal cost, and generally made me very happy with the idea of dealing with them. |

People seem to forget that many traders aren't doing it full time. Never any problem with an h&r order for me. |

I have ordered a few times over the last 6 months – Andy is very helpful and I always have received what I ordered. Very good company and my perception is that Andy is trying hard to balance a lot of things at once. i will definitely order again from him |

Maybe it would have been a good idea to call them first, before starting a thread with "terrible service" in the title? |
dualer | 24 Mar 2016 10:54 a.m. PST |
Is 15 days "terrible service"? |
Sith1144 | 24 Mar 2016 12:33 p.m. PST |
alright, fair enough, looks like theres no reason for concenrn then. as to whether 15 days is terrible service, no, but not responding to an email in seven days is worrisome, I guess I just need to learn to be patient :) still, it would be nice if they had an automated thing or something to tell me they at least received my email, thatd take away a lot of the uncertainty I think. |
kmahony111 | 24 Mar 2016 1:51 p.m. PST |
I think "slow service" would be a more appropriate comment at this point. I get impatient when I order something as i am usually excited and want it NOW! But it must be hard juggling a job and casting figures |

Always have had a good service from H&R. Please bear with them. |

Before 9/11, I used to be able to send and receive things from the UK in about 5 days. Now, I give it at least 10 days. |

Of the US manufacturers, one company acts like they are doing you a HUGE favor when you buy their products. The other guy will literally SCREAM at you if you even dare to ask a question. H&R and Scotia are absolute joys to deal with in comparison…believe me. |
Bellbottom | 24 Mar 2016 9:18 p.m. PST |
@ Sith1144 Like I said, any email to the contact email address at H&R results in an automatic reply email giving you a further email address to send to. Might be worth checking your inbox and seeing if the auto reply has been filed as Spam. Even then, as many posted above, Andy is a very busy chap, but does eventually get round to replying. Fine service from them and Scotia. @JasonAfrika I know who you're talking about. I've had those same responses. |

H&R top outfit and Andy A+ to deal with……….and this if from a competitor manufacturer. Small outfits like ours do get a tad behind sometimes. L |

The contact number on the website no longer appears to be working – presumably there is a new number after the move? Anyone know what it is as sending messages via the contact link also doesn't seem to get a reply. |
