I just finished painting and basing some of the Viet Mihn I bought at Cold Wars this weekend past. The figures are absolutely fantastic. The detail on them is great, the pose and dynamism of the sculpts is inspiring. They are just great little figures. I'll probably finish the rest of them by weeks end. I thought some people might like to see some before then.
I'll get to the French Paras next week and hopefully be able to play a game the over the April Fools day weekend. |

Scott, What is the little disk thing on the top of their packs? Mortar base plate? |

That's a wire and wood disc to hold vegetation for camouflage. A well camoed squad looked like a literal moving brush pile. The NVA also used these during the second Indo China War. |

I agree with your figure comments, they are fantastic sculpts. And your painting of them is tops. Well done. |

Thanks guys. I'm glad you like them. I got the French assembled tonight but not sprayed yet. I'll probably get to that tomorrow at some point. Then painted next week. |
