This was the first (purely fictional) battle of our "LANNES" Napoleonic campaign. The overall setting for this battle is the Suvarov in Italy events of 1799 (uniforms are obviously of the later part of the Napoleonic Wars, of course). link The scenario was generated previously: link It resulted in the use of this map (from Warplan 5/5):

The whole narrated report is on my blog at: link Peter |

Fun read and interesting scenario set up and play again Peter. Blogger still will not allow a WP user to post comments. The rift continues. M |

yes, Michael, in order to post a comment to a blogger blog, you have to have a Google+ account. No harm in having one, but I can see why one might not want to add yet another thing. Conversely, although I can post comments to a WP blog, I have to individually register for follow up comments to that one post to bhe snet as email notifications. Better than the current Blogger requirement, but not ideal either. Turf wars, and not the kind on grass, weal or artificial (or flock!) |

G Man, I guess I just have to have a "empty" Blogger account with no posts… or just one with links and reference to the main WP account.. just for posting comments. I even have a Google+ I think…. someplace…. lost in the void of Google. |

Glad you enjoyed it, Normsmith! And I see you managed to access or open a Google + account, Michael (and boy is my typing bad!)! |
