Gents, Some Masai huts for your viewing ‘pleasure'..that's an over statement if you know what a Masai hut looks like :-) Anyway, no pics of these are online so this post may prove useful as it shows how they look on table. Cheers Happy Wanderer wp.me/p1YrZG-CJ

"I did find a few pics online" I think I confused my point…I meant the Monolith Design Masai huts…not the real ones :-) As you can see though, there is much variation.

As long as you used genuinie Masai Cattle Dung you are fine. But seriously they look great. Personally I would dry brush a little tan or reddish brown on them. The Masai apply dung quite frequently to repair holes, etc. When I was in Masailand in Northern Tanzania the huts I saw appeared a bit more reddish brown. But that is one cool village you made, great textures on the huts. What game are you playing? |

Thanks guys, Maybe a splash of red would break them up a bit – good suggestion ;-) @JasonAfrika "What game are you playing?" I'm playing our own adaptations of Studio Tomahawk's Muskets & Tomahawks for the Darkest Africa or more generally Colonial period….they work really well. You can see the first discussion on this concept. link Then a run through of a game here… link
…and just a few days ago, a discussion of some gun vs spear ideas here. link
..that should keep you busy for a bit! :-) PS – I think the rhino is not the meal but after one! |
