Are you sure this is designed for WW1? There was no concept of Panzergrenadier in the Great War. Or is this a WW2 game that has been adapted?

I played the rules set and it was for WW2 yep. But I think Pipers is curious if it is adaptable for WW1? I suppose it could be if you leave out the armor etc.

I know I took the basic model of it and used some of the concepts to make my Mexican Revolution rules. It worked but it definitely isn't Panzergrenadier anymore.

Thanks, it is a good game but to play with very few machine guns

Thanks for the clarification. There is a major problem with transferring WW2 rulesets into WW1. It isn't just about leaving out the armour and WW2 specific weapons. The unit frontages were very different. The frontage of a WW2 platoon would equate to a WW1 company for example. There were major differences in front line command and control, etc.

All that being said, if you are familiar with a WW2 ruleset and just want to give it a whirl with WW1 figures then go for it.

I suspect that they would be OK for 1918 actions particularly the final 100 days operations as later actions were much closer to early WW2 in many ways.

Translating early tanks into the rules should not be a problem
