Someone re-releasing Tigers&Stalins? ;)

Get it while you can. Since it is a "Gale Force Nine" production they will probably do one print run then stop production.

Hey now!

Time for me to release the IP Kraken? wink

I can't seem to find it anywhere … are these tanks 1:100 scale?

I can't seem to find it anywhere … are these tanks 1:100 scale?

It's a Battlefront production, with 1:100 scale plastics.

The standard Tanks rules are downloadable from GF9: tanks.gf9games.com

If you go through the planned releases in the Depot, you can extract the data for 20 different tanks.

I played a game of this with my 7 year old the other night using that. It is very 'World of Tanks' fast, tending to turn into fast passes to get the close range shot from behind, which is what he does in WoT. (The image on their website of a Comet and Sherman against a T34 and SU may make some cringe, but that's World of Tanks too…)

I summarised the rules onto 1 sheet of A4, with all the tank data on the back (and extrapolated another 14 tanks, because typically he wants to play with other things that are in his tank drawer), which I have laminated. Only things we didn't have were the crew cards, hero cards and critical hit cards. We just counted criticals as 2 or 3 hits (so we missed out on the repairability options) but he seemed more than content.

Mind you about 5 minutes in he was questioning whether a Sherman should have the same damage points as a Panther…

Time for me to release the IP Kraken?

You can't copyright an idea… ;-)

But you didn't say whether you liked it. Will you play it again?

Yes, quite enjoyed it as a 20 minute game. Lots of tanks and buckets of dice. It's not really a 'realistic' wargame (although perhaps I just need to play a few more times to suss out a few tactics), but I can see me putting a few small games together for him and his friends in school.
