We have another spamming escapee from adolescence, Fleet Air, whose name indicates he needs a cranial enema. Please flush him and his oh-so-sophisticated scatalogical well-wishings down the internet sewer, if you would be so kind? |
svsavory | 21 Mar 2016 5:36 p.m. PST |
He's 12 years old, or at least he acts like it. Hitting the "stifle" button is easy. |
epturner | 21 Mar 2016 5:39 p.m. PST |
Mark, I second that emotion… Flush away, please. Eric |

capncarp, "Field Air" has been all over the Message Boards it seems. I've stifled him and filed a complaint. Seems like this should be something Bill could get the Assistant Editors to work on, some kind of language filter. |
Editor in Chief Bill | 21 Mar 2016 6:09 p.m. PST |
Can't "language filter" an image, at least not with any technology available to me. Account purged, posts removed. (Sorry for the delay, was out to dinner with family) |

He's 12 years old, or at least he acts like it. And a rather dull 12 year old, at that… |

Thanks, boss. We can sleep easier knowing you've got you hand on the Nuke-O-Matic History Eraser button. |

We all know who it is. We just can't prove it. |

Ah … the continuing drama on a site about old men playing with toys soldiers … amazingly sad. Just a another indication of the problems that the new normal of the world wide net. Where the laws have not kept up with the Tech. Oh well … Belgium just got hit by another Deash attack with 26 dead so far. That is more important than some childish loser, who probably lives in his mommy's basement, trying to get attention because he has no friends, etc. … Another that does not play with others … |

It would be nice if such a bill was enacted but it must be enforced to be effective. But anything could help … |
etotheipi | 23 Mar 2016 11:22 a.m. PST |
As its an individual rights bill so, if enacted, it would be much like TMP in that one would have to "hit the complaint button" first rather than having patrols of enforcers out looking for violations (like we do for safety). There are places with such laws currently enacted, but I believe NYS is the relevant jurisdiction. The part about sending from or into NYS becomes … er … interesting … when you start to consider where things might come from. |
Legion 4 | 23 Mar 2016 4:25 p.m. PST |
I think it certainly would be a move in the right direction … |

And nearly impossible to enforce, given the ease of covering ones IP tracks through third party sites, hacking, etc. |

Nah. There certainly are high-end techniques to avoid leaving evidence. And high-end techniques to gather evidence. Depending on who is investigating the incident, most people lack the high-end skill set to avoid high-high-end detection. The driving factors are really interest level and money, not technology. |

The driving factors are really interest level and money That is the bottom line … for many law enforcement and even military and intel activities … As always it's all about the Benjamins … |
