I am stunned by the cost to ship something from the United States to Europe, specifically Ireland. The best deal I could find for a small package was $60.00 USD through the US Post Office. Surely I am missing something here. I have someone interested in buying some things I have on the marketplace but they are in Ireland. $60.00 USD to just send a handful of miniatures seems ridiculous. Is there a better way???? |

Revisit the postage calculator on the USPS website. Choose the international mail tab and pick the destination country. Enter the value and click on "based on shape." Enter the weight and click on "package." Now use the pull down tab in the window and choose "all" and tap "go." All available options will now display. Under 9oz should be $13.50 USD. At 9oz it ticks up to $22.50 USD but stays there until almost 2 lbs. Hope this helps. |
