I have a lot of books that I could go through but somebody must have already done this, so I'll be lazy and ask.

What was the density of cannon to troops for a corp (or army) sized unit at different periods and armies?

Somewhere between 1 gun per 500 to 1 gun per 2000 troops?

How many were assigned directly to brigades and how many to division or corp or army reserves?

How many were foot and how many were horse artillery?

How many were 12 pounders, 8/9 pounders, 6 pounders, 3/4 pounders and smaller battalion guns?

Somebody must have pored through and tabluated all this.

Looks like the bug has mutated! First time I've seen another topic post "inside" another topic.

Hayden – thanks for the AARs.

Nice BATREPS, thanks for sharing! Since you also have fleet scale fighters, have any fleet actions in the works?

Hayden21 Mar 2016 9:28 a.m. PST

Normaly i play Full thrust but now i bought Carrier Command so i will need to try it not excatly -fleet action but it will do need to try Starnavy one day though on my blog you will find some older batreps. For Terran Alliance i have Repurposed HALO UNSC Fleet and squids are using GZG Mysterious fleet, mission two is defend strike so we can expect some capship action hopefully….

Let me know how it goes, I helped co-author Fighter Command and Carrier Command, happy to answer any questions -- and of course the THW forum is very active. Post Qs and comments there, you'll get a quick response!
