I thought that you might like to see my latest project, a 'batch' paint of the Warlord games British Waterloo Infantry. I've put stage by stage pictures in so you can see each colour as it is applied. A warning though, I am going to finish them with Army Painter dip so if you are not a fan of this technique this may not be for you! If you are new to Napoleonics I hope that you find it useful. Part 1 is here: link Part 2 is here: link I've had a good weekend painting so the final installment should be ready this week! |

Just a point of detail re the blog post- the 28th Foot was a standard line regiment rather than a light regiment. In 1815 it still had not received the Belgic shako so it wore its old stovepipe shakos. |

Thanks seneffe. I have been looking for more references on the 28th as they appear to have their own identity – badges on rear of Stovepipes. If you have any more information or can point me in the direction of a good reference source I would be grateful. I have seen some chatter regarding officers uniform. Some say they were in Stovepipe, some say Bicornes and others Belgiac. |

The Mont Saint Jean site has some uniform plates for the 28th: link |

I do like the way you lay things out, very helpful. |

The final part of my blog showing the batch paint of the 32nd is now done and you can see it here: link I've taken a bit of a short cut with the officers after all as inspiration has struck and I'm now working on a commander for my army. His name is Sir Sydney Ruff-Diamond. Those of a certain age will get the reference. |
