Slowly pushing on with my Imperial guard light infantry (the Redroran rangers) army and thought I'd share progress to date. Painting large numbers of guard infantry is certainly a challenge and feels more like factory production than fun. Individual paint jobs are less than stellar but the overall look works quite well I think.

Background for my army can be found here

Looks good Jon, they tie in wonderfully with that vehicle too, your basing also brings them together nicely, my long term IG are the old metal Steel Legion done very WW1 looking with scratch built bayonets, am doing terrain that looks like trench warfare for them.
Again impressed Jon can't wait to see it finished.

What's that vehicle? Manufacturer and scale?

Why do I get a 80's G.I Joe vibe from these guys?

TheGaffer@ it's a cheap (£5.00) 1/43rd diecast with a few Games Workshop bits stuck on it. More info here

IronMike@ wasn't intentional but now you mention it….
