Such a busy week here at EWM, Coffee Table Tuesday chatter got delayed to Friday. When you see the Coffee table, and see all the "pretty things we have been working on, you will see why. But, coffee and tea breaks are important, Mr Day gets kinda of frumpy without daily regular Tea infusions, and I need my coffee. We had a visit from a very dear and old Friend, Mr Todd today, so what better excuse than to down tools and enjoy the pleasures of the table over fine Yorkshire Tea and best Lavza Coffee.

link Houses, I love model buildings, and had commissioned from the talented Mr Steve Cox, a small range of French/Belgian styled buildings in 20mm scale. The first "mock ups" from the castings were shown to Mr Todd, who has kindly agreed to paint some up for me next week. Fantastic, as he is a gifted modeller and painter of all things.

MR Todd had heard of our Armourfast accessory and conversion sets so was keen to see them in the flesh. This gave us an excuse to parade more goodness on the table.

However, these were out shadowed by my latest workings. After a lot of research, study, practicing, investments in new materials, machinery and equipment, I have at last been able to produce some fine looking 1 piece castings. Kubel wagens, Marder II, a tester Mark III panzer M, some Italians vehicles.

We were asked by a club member to help him by casting his Viking long ships, to be used on a demo game at this year's Salute show, a mere few weeks away! The mould was made, and the first 2 casts of the Viking battleships were cast. Christened on the coffee table, the first two Viking dreadnought hulls were christened, sure to do well for the Ginger nation, with many heroic deeds to be played out on the table top….. I could go on. 6 more to make plus all the oars, brows, steering arrangements and other add on detail, but that's for next week.

link Mr Day lined up the Panzer and used some of his hit markers, unpainted as yet, on the EWM FCM hulls, in his words, re-enacting Villers bocagre of sorts on the coffee table! with his Whittman tea mug!
