Would these be appropriate for the magyars or is their armor too late? Thanks.

Neither of them are wearing armour.The chap with the bow is wearing a long(kaftan ?)coat and cap.The other has a shorter jacket with lacing across the chest and has a cloak over the top.He is armed with a slightly curved sabre and a small round shield.

The figure holding a sword is very similar to late 10th century Byzantine pictures of Bulgarians, so no problem with date.

I have a feeling beards weren't much of a thing for the Magyars but FWIW there is a 13th century picture of the Magyar 'seven chieftans' and some have beards. So even if the figures shouldn't have beards then at least you are sticking with Hungarian tradition.
