I recently bought the core set of Fantasy Flight Games' X-Wing Miniatures Game, and I am VERY IMPRESSED by the detail of the miniatures provided! And I also like that they seem to be anywhere between 1/285-1/300 scale! One of the TIEs supplied has a wing panel that needs to be slightly realigned, and I'd like to know if anyone here has performed that correction? Would it be safe to soak the affected wing in hot tap water with a drop or two of dishwashing liquid? If not, what would y'all suggest, and also, how long should I soak the wing? Thanks! |

FFG insist the models are all 1:250 and based on the original movie props. As far as repairs, Ive glued the panels back on but havnt readjusted the alignment (didnt need to) ymmv, |

Most people who mode the X-Wing ships take them apart by very carefully breaking the joints by wiggling them back and for breaking the superglue bond. You may be able to pop them off without damaging them. I know I've seen some blogs that have done the work you are wanting to do. |
