An All Quiet on the Martian Front battlereport Martian forces meet to discuss their political differences only to find their moot location occupied by human forces. link Enjoy. |

Love the Marvin Martian conversion. It is my hope that once all the legal dust clears (which could be a while) that someone will be able to purchase the rights and the molds to keep this game going. Although what is more likely to happen is that some enterprising person or company will create something similar. All Quiet clearly struck a chord and based on the Kickstarter alone showed a lot of promise. Here is hoping that those who do have a lot of the stuff keep the game alive by putting on games at conventions, their local gaming stores, and personal basements. |

Marvin wasn't even that hard to convert. My wife posed the question, "Are you going to paint one like Marvin the Martian"? And after a brief moment of shock, I replied, "How can I not paint one like Marvin the Martian"? Break out the red and green paint, print out a copy of the character, glue a yellow pipe cleaner to a tooth pick and done. |

Good stuff! Love me some AQMF. Although, who knew the Martians were of Indian descent? Either that or the Devanagari alphabet originated on Mars, which is also plausible… There's as curry heat ray joke there somewhere but I'm not finding it. |

Nicely done and I love Marvin the Martian |

Great Stuff. I too hope the legal issues resolve quickly. I need some drones to finish off my Martians. |

I wanted a strange looking alphabet, but needed one that was Windows Standard, because if your local computer doesn't have the font, it comes up as all squares and triangles. |

Allen57 I am not sure who but I understand there is already a growing alternate market for All Quiet. Perhaps someone in the know will be along later to provide better information. |

Take a look at Conqueror Models out of the UK. Has some really nice US tank types. |

I wanted a strange looking alphabet… We understood that, and it was quite 'alien' to me, but weren't you afraid you might have spelled out something, unnatural? ;->= Really, a fun read. Thanks! Doug |

something, unnatural? Not really. The words spell out, in this case Pod 4, Hive 124, or Pod 2, Hive 5A, or Strange cartoon creature. |

Just goes to show a slightly unbalanced scenario can be a very good game. Lots of fun, too :) |

If you are looking for rules for VSF/Steam Punk Martian Invasions. Consider For Queen and Planet: Imperial Wars of Earth and Mars. Available on Wargame Vault at: link |

Another manufacturer that is new to putting out product for AQMF is Slave 2, they are out of Australia. They provided a lot of product for the AQMF games that were run at Little Wars. They have some great looking British & Prussian Infantry. Looks like they will soon have their tanks available as well. From some conversations that I had at the convention we could see the rebirth of the line. |

Don't forget the extensive range of figures from Black Hat in their Martian Empires range. Loads of figures, characters, critters and some vehicles (tho the range is more 19th century than WW1, but still)…. In the UK: blackhat.co.uk In the US of A: ScaleCreep.com |

Near as I can tell, Slave 2 has a Facebook site only: link Anybody find a website or email? One thing I keep forgetting is that the Martian Empire by Black Hat is under 18mm, not 15mm. Always takes a few extra tens of seconds for me to remember. Natch, I order from ScaleCreep, but Black Hat's site has more piccies. On the other hand, it's about as easy, when looking at Brigade Models, to use either ScaleCreep or Tony's. Growth can be a terrible mistress, eh, Mark? ;->= Doug |
