Following on from the other discussion…There is a documentary out there called "A death on the railroad", or something similar. It concerns a group of Irish immigrants to the US that were hired to work on railway construction and disappeared. It was quite good.

The story was that they contracted cholera, or something along that line, and died. The researchers point out that cholera only has a 50% mortality rate so that would be impossible. After some work they found the graves and determined that the Irish had been killed in two waves. The researched surmise that some of the group had tried to leave to escape the disease. That the locals killed the escapees, then came back and wiped out the entire group.

there is great wailing, gnashing of teeth, and Irish victim mythology. When you think about it though, both sides did what they had to do to try and survive. Would you risk allowing a carrier of a disease that would kill half of your community, your family, in? Even though we all know we should help those in need? I'm pretty sure I know where Rick would go on this: Is he wrong?

That did happen while the group was in the Prison… Carol killed Tyrese's girlfriend because she had the flu virus!
