I am interested in what paint (brand and color name ) you use for the late war British web gear that was on the green side. I am planning to paint some late war British and want to use that coloring instead of the khaki from the earlier part of the war.

Any help is appreciated!

44 pattern webbing was vanishingly rare during WW2, however 37 pattern webbing was often blancoed in KG3 (khaki green).

Any sort of mid green will do.

Yes, blancoandbull is the go to place for all things to do with webbing colours.

I know the author.

Having said that, I almost always do my WW2 British infantry in unblancoed webbing as it makes a nice contrast with the uniforms.

44 pattern was pre-coloured green (a similar shade to 58), but it was barely used in WW2 apart from the Far East.

Karkeeweb is good on the history of webbing:

and on 44 pattern:

Thank you gentlemen. The links are a big help and as my plan is for an early post WWII army the green toned web gear should work nicely.
