I am interested in what paint (brand and color name ) you use for the late war British web gear that was on the green side. I am planning to paint some late war British and want to use that coloring instead of the khaki from the earlier part of the war. Any help is appreciated! Terry |

44 pattern webbing was vanishingly rare during WW2, however 37 pattern webbing was often blancoed in KG3 (khaki green). Any sort of mid green will do. |

Yes, blancoandbull is the go to place for all things to do with webbing colours. I know the author. Having said that, I almost always do my WW2 British infantry in unblancoed webbing as it makes a nice contrast with the uniforms. 44 pattern was pre-coloured green (a similar shade to 58), but it was barely used in WW2 apart from the Far East. Karkeeweb is good on the history of webbing: link and on 44 pattern: link |

Thank you gentlemen. The links are a big help and as my plan is for an early post WWII army the green toned web gear should work nicely. Terry |
