Had both my Wizard – Khan Berra the mage and his apprentice Amsmaj killed in tonight playing Frostgrave. It appears to be another set of rules that has magically cursed my dice.

Oh, I'm sure I rolled perfectly average, but I get 19s when I don't really need them.

Perhaps you should sacrifice the offending dice? Maybe a hammer or flames are the way to go. "If thine dice offend thee, crush and burn them!"

You need to start playing "The Complete Brigadier"-essentially no dice rolls-IIRC the only one is if your brigadier is put into jeopardy. So don't do that.

You could always shout taunts at your opponents and then run off the board.

If you do sacrifice your dice remember to do it in full view of your other dice to achieve the maximum effect.

Yep, execute the dice 'for the encouragement of the others'!

"You could always shout taunts at your opponents and then run off the board."

I did say to opponent number 1 after a question by opponent number 2

"There are no stupid questions. There are however questions asked by stupid people."

I tried to decimate a die one – lined up his comrades and everything – when I hit it with the hammer, it must have been slightly off center, as though I cracked a piece off, the bigger piece jumped up and nailed my thumb.
