Just put together the Elk Horn Tavern I got from Good Ground for Christmas. It is a very nice building. There was minimal flash on the railings. There was only minor sanding and it went together easily. I am also very pleased with the Iron Brigade figures. |

Thanks for the kind words Doug. We tried to keep the Elkhorn Tavern model all resin. After the first couple of castings, the flash on the porch sprue was pretty minimal, so we went with that approach. The other alternative would have been metal bits. Some of my other models have these, but the casting must be done by two different casters on two different continents. I try to avoid this whenever possible as it is almost impossible to coordinate. Glad you enjoyed the models and figs and a belated Merry Christmas. |
