These are the Napoleoniques?

Wellington Man11 Mar 2016 2:33 p.m. PST

They are indeed!

Beautiful figures. A lot to be said for the old school style.

I couldn't afford them then (and couldn't now,I bet!)
Went for the 15mm, Napoleonettes. Also cute.

Certainly better painted than the ones I used to play with. Good job!

Having painted quite a few of these in my youth, these are beautifully painted with that old school feel to them.

Thanks for posting as you just took me back to when I just started Nap gaming.

I had met a few guys when I was a teenager who lived 2 blocks from me, based on an article in the local paper and these gentleman gamed Napoleonic's with well painted 54mm Historex figures. I was in awe just seeing the figures on this massive table and was hooked after that. They told me where they bought their figures and besides Historex the shop also sold Der Kriegspielers figures and the rest is history.

HvS – a year or two ago one could pick them up quite cheaply. Less so now, I'm afraid.

VB – Glad you like 'em!
