I thought it would be quite nice to report back on what happened on club night. It would be very interesting (to me at least) to know hat is being played around the clubs. Clubs can help the hobby expand as they are neutral ground and often have plenty of space for all comers. So plaese post some short nores or even pictures of what is going on at your club. Anyway, at the Weymouth levellers club tonight there was a game of X wing. there were two Vietnam games but we were short of tables because the bingo group had taken too many! Last meeting two weeks ago thre was a game of the French Ancients rules, bolt action, A PBI and a Vietnam game. If you live in the Weymouth Dorset area then do come along and join in.. martin |

We'll be playing the third game in a Russo-Japan campaign tomorrow. It will be the Battle of the Yellow Sea modified by the results of the campaign so far which means the IJN will be bringing 6 battleships to the fray versus 7 for the Tsar who also have a live and kicking Makarov as their Admiral. The game is at Treefort Games in Fayetteville, GA. |

Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) here in Texas – we play every Friday night in San Antonio. This week (18 March) was SAGA and Bolt Action. We had about 16 members participating. We also had a reporter and photographer from the San Antonio News-Express doing a featured story on Historical Gaming. Watch TMP for a full report: Charlie's Moors fighting Martin's Saxons in a SAGA match.

The most recent game at the Exiles Club here in London was a WWII Yugoslavia game using a modified version of AK47. We game on Thursday evening in the basement of a pub close to Waterloo station. Unlike a number of clubs we just play the one game per evening. We play just the one game as we only have the one table, although when we played in a previous pub location where we had a number of tables we still just played the one game. Probably average around 7 players each Thursday evening. We also get the occasional transient overseas visitor dropping in for a game, and always interesting to hear about their part of the world and gaming experiences. Further details about the Exiles can be found here: link Ezza |
