On Saturday 21st May the first ever To the Strongest! Wales Open will take place at Firestorm Games in Cardiff (near Cardiff Central Train/bus station; free parking available on site).

The event, organised by Ross Broadstock (http://figurepainting.co.uk/) and myself, will use a format similar to the recent TtS! "Worlds" at Chalgrove; each player will fight three battles during the course of the day using an ancient or medieval 28mm army and the To the Strongest! rules.

Players can use 28mm armies based for most systems (e.g WAB, Impetus and WRG) and if you don't have a suitable 28mm army we can lend you a nice one for the day. If you've not previously played TtS! don't worry- you'll be playing like a grognard by 5pm!

Players will be free to pick their army from any of the 116 free ancient and medieval army lists that can be downloaded for free from here: link I can help you to write your army list.

Entry costs £10.00 GBP – there will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, for the most sporting gamer and a wooden-spoon prize for the lowest scorer. Details of how to enter, army sizes and suchlike can be found here:link

Whether you are a seasoned To the Strongest! gamer or want to try the rules out for the first time in a friendly environment, we hope to see you there! To reserve a place mail me at simonmiller60 AT gmail DOT com, or PM me.

Best, Simon
