Many UK readers will be familiar with the excellent Cavalier show held in Tonbridge each February by the Tunbridge Wells Wargames Society. What is not so well known is that Tonbridge has its own wargaming group – Tonbridge Wargames Club link – which meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month from 7.00pm. The venue is just off the other side of the High Street from where Cavalier is held. Please check out the website for further details. (Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells are often confused. Tonbridge is older and has a mediaeval castle. Tunbridge Wells is famous for its Eighteenth Century Pantiles area.) |
