Thinking about 3mm WW2 and Cold War

Hafen von Schlockenberg06 Mar 2016 11:11 a.m. PST

Yeah,Doug, it is strange. I wonder what scales Pete Berry and Leon Pendraken game in?

Doug MSC Supporting Member of TMP06 Mar 2016 5:20 p.m. PST

That's a good question Hafen. We may have to look into that.

Weasel06 Mar 2016 5:58 p.m. PST

Okay, I am going to not list anything I have like 8 troop stands for, and just go with stuff that hits the table regularly or in the near future.

15mm – WW2, RCW, Cold war, scifi
3mm – Cold war
6mm – scifi
2mm (soon) – Horse and musket shenanigans
1/72 plastics – some ww2, the very occasional bit of ACW.

basileus6606 Mar 2016 10:15 p.m. PST

Collecting (and painting! Imagine that!):

- Crusades 15mm
- Thirty Years War, 15mm
- SYW, 28 mm (Austrians finished, now it is time to start with the Prussians)
- WWII 20mm
- Moderns 15 mm
- Ultramoderns 20mm
- Sci-Fi 28mm

Wargaming, though… well, let' say that since 2011 when I opened my action figures shop time devoted to wargaming has been less than optimal.

Timmo uk07 Mar 2016 2:54 p.m. PST

ECW – 25mm
Napoleonic – 18mm
Napoleonic naval – 1/1200
Sudan 1882/85 – 28mm
WW1 Air – 1/144
WW2 Air 1/285

I have Pirates in 28mm and some WW2 in 20mm but they have only been painting projects thus far.

Thinking of finally getting around to adding 1/14800 WW2 naval. If I had my time again I'd have done ECW and Sudan in 18mm.

I have to admit to always finding this sort to thread really interesting to read. This time around I'm slightly surprised how much smaller scale stuff everybody is into.
