So I can imagien this has been done before. But which Sharpe "episode/moive" was the best I have to say nr 2 Sharpes Eagle, it did eveything right. If they only had a few tens of thousands of extras more and it would have been perfect |

No, but it should be one of the many "no opinion" options. |

Agree with you Sharpe's Eagle was pretty good |

Sharpe's Enemy because of Elizabeth Hurley and one of the best lines from the series, "My complements to the countess." Also Pete Postlethwaite was such a wonderful bad guy. |

I always felt the number of extras in the units was more like a wargame sized unit. |

I liked the one where an aristocratic officer, for reasons of snobbery and envy, stole the hero's cunning device for improving the point on a pencil. So, I nominate "Sharpe's Sharpener." |

Not watching the show until I am through all the books. |

Good one,Howard, but many forget the comic "weight-gain" episode, where he gorged on mutton all the way to India: "Sharpe's Ship Sheep Shape". |

Or was it "Sharpe's Sheepship Shape"? |

Always preferred the novels to the TV show, but I do like Sean Bean's acting. |

The one where Sharpe comes up from the gutter and bests his stupid, aristocratic rivals. Pretty sure he saves the girl in this one and some frogs die along the way. |
