Haven't played 40k in about 6 or 7 years, my friends gaming group predominantly play 40k so I am looking at getting back in.

I am wondering what I would need to buy, any list advice would be greatly appreciated. I will be picking up a codex at some point this week.

thanks in advance

There is a newly released starter box for Space Wolves. It even has things you would want. Not usual for GW. Three Thunderwolves, a Space Wolves Wolf Lord, a ten-man Space Wolves Pack. Its even a decent price…. for GW.

a copy of the codex would be a good start.

A copy or Rogue Trader or 2ND Ed and a couple of old codexes? :D

It's worth noting that if you're playing 7th edition, the codex has been updated through the extra rules in the Curse of the Wulfen campaign book. That being said, there's an ebook version that merges the new rules with the codex to create an updated codex, but there is no updated printed version of this.
