Just curious to see if the Metal Magic range of 15mm figures from the Crusades are still available for sale, under another name.

I found a few packs at home, that need to be put to use.

I clicked on the company link to them here on TMP, and got bounced around to a few different sites, finally to Mega Minis, and there didn't seem to be anything listed there.

So, I'm wondering if the range(s) were sold off, and are now available under another name?

The figs I have are primarily Crusaders, from the mid – late 13th Century (1275, or so).

If not, any good figures that match up well with them, for both Crusaders and opponents?

Sizewise, looks like perhaps Essex might be a reasonable match.

Thoughts?

I thought they were being sold as Gladiator now

Hobby Products/Metal Magic feudal figures* sculpted by Josef Ochmann are now available from Black Hat 15mm/feudals … as far as I'm aware there were no 'Crusaders' as such …

As well as items from elsewhere within the MM stable, Mirliton are generally a good match in size and style.

Some of my favourite figures.

*plus Hellenistics, Late Romans, Goths etc. but be careful to distinguish between the older Metal Magic lines and the (IMO inferior) later additions Gladiator had made.

Scale Creep (AKA Extra Crispy) carries the Gladiator ex-Metal Magic line here in the US.

The Stuff of Legends has a listing with some pictures of the Metal Magic/Historical Heroes lines sculpted by Jozef Ochmann.

Got lucky a few years ago on ebay and picked up 22 misc. packs of Metal Magic figures for about 30.00.

Beautiful minis. Waiting till my painting skills get a bit better before opening up the packs, although I do have a few loose MM minis that I am having a go at.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, that is them, under the Feudal range listings.

Good to see they are still available.
