Okay so there are a load of Zombie stuff out there. I'm in for the base level pledge for Mantic's Walking Dead but I can't decide to stay or pull out. Here's why – In 28mm I already own (but have only painted a few) Zombicide sets (Prison Outbreak, Rue Morgue, Angry Neighbours and a few extra mini sets from the last Kickstarter – Black Plague on the way). Also enough 15mm zombies and survivors to do the TV Walking Dead if I want to. Mantic's offering looks good and fun. Then Warlord's Project Z appeared on my radar and that looks even more fun. Clearly I'm a Walking Dead fan, TV and comic, but you can have too many zombies (or can you?). Just wondering what the TMP thought. a.) Leave it, you've got zombies coming out your a$@% b.) Leave it and go with Project Z because … fill in blank c.) Stay with it, looks great value etc… b.) Buy them all becuase they are Zombies (this isn't really an option becuase I've got to draw a line somewhere!) e.) Forget them both, haven't you seen… Look forward to any comments. Stealth1000 – Can't do that. Suffering from Leadpiletendanitus and unrestraint purchasing. I'm looking for steath 'enabling' rather than pure 'go on, take the drug…' thorr666 – ? got any ground for Z over Walking Dead? Jim – Ken I dinnae do other folks painted minis despite how brilliant yours might be… Use them for your sniper target practice ;-) |

FYI Pulled out. The thought of all those plastic eyes staring at me while I couldn't find the time to paint or play with them had me awake at night. Zombies on the other hand don't bother me ;-) |

Have you tried All Things Zombie, Song of Blade and Hero's Fear and Faith, and other "use your own mini's" rules systems? |
Jimboba | 01 Mar 2016 4:19 a.m. PST |
Yes ced. I've Fear and Faith. It isn't/wasn't about the rules. It's all about the toys ;-) |

You'll be lucky to get your stuff from Mantic. |

Yes. I've heard Mantic haven't the best reputation (with KSs at least). I'd have looked on the positive side though. Benefit of experience one would hope. |

ZPocalypse has some hospital zombies on Amazon that I got at a good price. Any info when CMON will have another Zombicide KS this year? |

Leave some regular figures unprotected in a box with your zombies. Problem solved. |

I enjoy the wargames factory plastics in 28mm. They are pretty good looking, cheap and possess limitless conversion options. I think they are marketed via Warlord games now. |

FYI, seems Warlord have made the rules for Project Z available for free. link |
