Here's a picture of Captain Darling (second from left)reviewing a section of Engineers with their newly delivered Armoured Steam Tractor on Salisbury Plain circa 1877…
I painted up some VSF Engineers so obviously they'd need transport so i planned to build an Armoured Steam Tractor with Trailer. Here is the Tractor I am just waiting on some wheels before I start the trailer. I intended for this to be an upgraded regular tractor so its brightly painted but the added armour plates and armoured wheels are dull grey to contrast. The full details of the now completed Armoured Steam Tractor are now on my blog! link |

And, if you don't have time to build your own armored steam tractor get the Old Glory one; link |

Well, that requires saving time and spending money, but requires less, ah, 'talent'. ;->= Captain should be well proud, but could go for the moderately expensive Old Glory for the variety as well. Bit less dear is the Tobsen77, of course.
A glorious smorgasbord of steam! Doug |

Hey All, Thank you very much your comments and feedback! I wouldn't mind buying others products but if I can build something like this the money I save can be used for figures that I can't make :-) Ironclad also make a steam engine and a couple of wagons…
Mine cost me less than AUD5 + my time more figures here I come! On a side note I have purchased some of TOBSEN77's flying 'contraptions' as for the money I figured they were well worth it! |
