Morning X Wing Fans,

Game 23 is here, our intrepid band of Rebel Pilots (cheer) try and rescue a Rebel Queen from the hands of a dastardly Bounty Hunter (boo).

It was a second game in a row for Jeff Vader and the first game ever that Rick O'Shea missed. Tune in to see how they got on.

Full Scenario notes and Campaign rules included.

Very cool. I'm following this with great interest and enjoyment.

I played X wing again last night, my fifth game, and I'm only just beginning to see how certain combinations of things might work. For a very simple game its subtle variations of things make it mind bogglingly difficult to get a real handle on. Of course it hasn't helped that I've never played with the same ships twice (I've bought 50 since New Year, and I've still to play with at least eight types) but the new ships are just so shiny – still, I've almost finished collecting what is available in the numbers I want.

Keep posting, please.

Cheers James,

Always good to hear from a fellow Yarkshire lad !

Glad you are enjoying our little campaign. I agree it's one of those rare games which has simple rules but many variations in play. It works well with a points based competition style game (which isn't our thing), or for scenario based games and the natural progression of that a campaign.

The fact we have been going down t'club with the same campaign for well over a year with no sign of people losing interest is proof of that. You're more than welcome to pop down to Leeds and join in.
