Recently posted up the land Battle of Aboukir July 1799 between General Bonaparte and his Armee d'Orient and Seid Mustapha Pasha, leading the just landed Army of Rhodes.

Two posts. The first is a brief background for the scenario and scenario design with notes. The second post is the After Action Report (AAR or Bat Rep) for the 25/28mm scenario. Included in the scenario design notes is a quick modeling/representation method for the offshore arab gunboat dhows,

Always wanted to jump into this period, especially when Dixon introduced their "Napoleon in Egypt" line of 25mm figures back in the early 1990s.

Would love to see your collection on the table top in person some day!

I am a great fan of your French in Egypt games and had been wondering when we would have the treat of your next one! As always, thoroughly prepared, awesomely beautiful game and screeds of helpful info for others.
Sadly, I don't live near S California. But I will be using your materials as inspiration for a 15mm version! Keep well and take care!

Thanks all for comments and the unknown visitors to the warren site. Still have Battle of the Heliopolis to scenario design. The Battle of the Pyramids 1798 scenario has been posted pending the actual game test play.
