Various China-made dinosaur toys being repainted into herds/flocks. More pictures soon. Do drop by my blog and check out the pictures. Thanks!

Nice work, cooey2ph! We visited Dinosaur National Park on the Colorado-Utah border years ago, when my son was little. They were starting to display paintings, books and dioramas with dinosaurs in lovely colors, like yours, but all the toys they had at the gift shop were plain old monotone gray, green and brownish dinosaurs. Maybe I need to visit them again, or maybe just buy some dinosaurs and repaint them. Yours certainly look good--who makes them?

Thanks! These are the regular dimestore China-made dinos. No specific brand. I just choose the nice castings.

Been recently looking for a good source of dinosaurs for 28mmish with no luck. Possibly 15mm as well. Where did you get yours from?

Dollar Tree occasionally has some nice ones for about 28mm.

Dime stores still exist?

Hafen von Schlockenberg26 Feb 2016 8:15 a.m. PST

Yes,but now they're "dollar"stores. So you can forget about finding that million – dollar baby,at the 5-and-10 cent store.
