Not sure how "untold" the story is;how does it compare to Garth's Tolkien and the Great War,which has been out for some time?

Even the Bug seems to think this thread doesn't belong here,but I'll add that several other works address this theme,one being T.A.Shippey's Author of the Century. There's also a massive new book on all the Inklings called "The Fellowship". This new one seems, from the description,to focus on the religious aspect. Of that kind of thing,there has been no shortage.
