I'm trying to get some idea of where some of the Wehrmacht Headquarters and concentrations would have been around the pas de Calais area for Seelowe. I've had a look at the orbats on Nafziger and unfortunately it doesn't seem to have anything relevant. Does anyone know of locations that troops/armour and also headquarters might have been during the Battle of Britain and the period up to the cancellation of the invasion? Many thanks. |

Thanks. That doesn't appear to give any locations just like Nafziger. |

The original operations maps are in the Imperial War Museum, and reproduced in a number of books. I'll have a look, but iirc they are pretty vague with just the big Corps sized sausages so beloved of German staff officers. |

Here, how about this:
Division sized sausages. Based on the div areas you can probably work out where the HQs would be. |

They aren't quite that big, and if you lay out three infantry regiments, artillery regiment and div services within them, they are actually pretty crammed together. As those are the actual ops maps, the Germans seemed to manage somehow! |

Yeah, that makes total sense. |
