I'm interested in what Ancients rules are actually being played. So what Ancients rules have you been playing since 2011. Now some clarifications: If your group used XXX in 2011 but now has been replaced by XXB, then just answer XXB. This is not about what rules are your favorite or what you wish the group would play, but what rules are currently being played. We are playing Clash of Empires (large battle) Lion Rampant (skirmish battles) |

DBA 3.0 Not often but it is the only set I have played in the last year. Tell a lie, if you include skirmish games, I have also had one game of Ronin. |

DBA 3.0. I've played a little 2HW Chain Reaction: Sword Play as well. I'm sadly not doing a whole lot of miniatures gaming of any kind lately though. |

Dba 2.2 Mighty armies Got a group going at my uni in athens, so it's been a good run so far. Looking at possibly starting hail Caesar Thanks Austin |

Clash of Empires for 28mm larger scale battles… historical scenario battles. My groups to enjoy the historical match ups. Noted d6 Junkie also plays the COE format. Hail Caesar also played in So California but ancient gaming is very thin on the tabletops. WR |

Interesting, no mention of FoGAncients or Hail Caesar, both of which are quite popular in our group. Personally, I like Sword and Spear, Basic Impetus and the odd game of DBA. |

The last for me was Warhammer Ancients, but it's been a while. I'll probably come back to Ancients after my current World War Two kick subsides some. How about the flip side of the coin? How many here still play ancient (old) rules on a regular basis? |

I *would* be playing DBA 3.0 if I could get off my butt and finish painting my armies (which now includes repairing my Amazon army and the finished portions of my Achaemenid Persians and wife's New Kingdome Egyptians due a cat-related disaster) and find a willing opponent. I am sure once I finish the NKE, Hatshepsuut will lead them to victory a few times… |
