Soviet Tank Regiment vs US Tank Battalion Task Force

Using 5Core Brigade Commander. Each stand is a Company. Results after @ 12 turns. Each side was allowed the Coordinated Command as a persistent asset, each was able to use it only once. I allowed the Soviets to use Maneuver Warfare as a persistent asset, so far they have not lost it. Artillery has been the great killer for NATO, Soviet Artillery has not really been used as they have had to use activations to maintain any sort of tempo to the advance. That and anything in LOS of the US ends up pinned or burning.

What are those? 6mm?

Table looks good.

Usually, when we play, the arty gets unloaded before contact. Once the bullets start flying, as you say, the activations go to the grunts, but then, the arty would probably lift to targets further back (and off the table).

15mm. Table is 4x8 feet (roughly 5x9km). Mix of Old Glory, QRF and Matchbox (Bradley). I use 3 inch sabot bases as that is about the footprint of a company (300Mx300m) and is the size of the artillery beaten zone.

Just need to find another opponent (playing solo and I think he cheats)
