I have recently begun playing the old game B-17 Queen of the sky. As much fun as that game is I am still a miniatures guy at heart. I'd like to rope a few more of my club into a game and thought I could spice the game up with a few miniatures and my wings of war mats. I am looking for small (don't know what scale that would be in aircraft, maybe 2.5 inch B-17s) and some fighters to go with it. Would need BF-109s, 190s and 110s to start. Hoping to find some already painted and cheap. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! |

Try 1 300th warbirds. He sales 1/300 painted figures for a reasonable price and he's pleasant to deal with. hetzer |

The toys are out there. 1/300, 1/285 or 1/600 scale are probably your best options. |

For cheap and unpainted you can go 1/600 Pico Armor. Their B-17 would be about 1.5" long link |

1/600th scale is a good one for this. Prepainted ones aren't cheap, but they're so small, you can paint up a bunch surprisingly quickly. |

1/600…although the 1/700 plastic sets paint up well and look very nice. Pre-painted….there is a wide range of pre-painted 1/144 stuff from Japan, but it can get pretty pricey. |
