Does anyone have any "Reiver Castings" figures from their Sino-Japanese War 1937 – 1945 range? I was wondering how well they would mix with "Copplestone" & "Pulp" minis. Any other suggestions on compatible figures would be appreciated. Thanks

Frank

Not sure they would match with Reiver, but Brigade Games has a bunch of Chinese with German equipment…

No Reiver, but I have Copplestone Chinese, Pulp Figures Chinese (now being redesigned), and the Brigade Games German-equipped Chinese. Although the sculpts are slightly different in size and heft, to me they all work (and play) well together. The Copplestone and Pulp are closer in appearance than the Brigade Games with the Brigade Games being just slightly smaller.

Sorry I couldn't help with a comparison to Reiver.

Hi

Have a look here link . Going from the picture they are a bit smaller than Copplestone, so probably smaller than Pulp too.

This is a good start.

One must remember that most warlords were influenced by foreign powers. So a lot of warlord's forces wore the same kit as that foreign powers army or old kit from that foreign power. So the Fengtian clique will have a lot of Japanese kit. A lot of the battles were fought with golden bullets i.e. buying off the enemy troops with gold.

Grumpy old man,

That is great to show a comparison of all those figures. I'm a bit dense, so I'm having just a little trouble following because some captions have more or less names then there are pictures, is it possible that you could redo the captions to show what exactly is above even if a duplicate?

Thanks

Hello Bobngar

You'd have to talk to the original poster. From what I can see he hasn't logged in to the successor of the GWP since Dec 2014 though link .
