Post and packaging costs are expensive due to the nature of the spray can, and I think Royal Mail (UK) won't deliver it.

Where's the best place to buy spray can paints online in the UK for WW2 figures?

Wayland Games and the Flames of War stores are usually out of stock and eBay and Amazon are very hit and miss.

Try Caliver Books, they do post paint. But if RM won't take spray cans not sure if they can send them.

Firestorm games however their don't use royal mail. Think it costs £5.99 GBP for whatever you order for delivery so best to order a good few at a time.

I have a couple of cans on order from Amazon right now – Be interesting to see if they turn up (p&P was free).

No problems using Amazon prime.

Plastic Soldier Company have them. I just bought 8 cans online at reduced price (St Valentines Day massacre sale, 14/02/2016 only) Arrived very quickly.

Re the above. they still have 4 can and 8 can bundles at £30.00 GBP and £54.00 GBP respectively, saving 12% and over 20% respectively.
My 8 can bundle was £8.05 GBPp postage and packaging.
They do 4 tank colours and 4 infantry colours.

If spray cans are a hassle in the UK, how does an airbrush look as a solution to the same problem? Not sure how many cans start to make the airbrush worthwhile.

Mark6820 Feb 2016 12:41 a.m. PST

@Rubber Suit Theatre

I've been checking out Airbrushes lately. A bit expensive and I'm not sure how useful they'll be on 6mm (which is what I'm hopefully going to be working on soon)

Bellbottom20 Feb 2016 2:57 a.m. PST

@Sparky68
I've been thinking of that too, but a decent simple one is still expensive.
However, to paraphrase, remember 'an airbrush is not just for Xmas!'

Mark6820 Feb 2016 11:39 p.m. PST

Actually, thinking about it, an airbrush might be better for undercoating 6mm figures
